LUNCHTIME PLANT WALK

Friday, January 3, Noon, Lunchtime Plant Walk: Focus on Medicines, and Yucca, $25
We’ll walk into the Arroyo Seco, north of JPL, and see the flora of the late season, and see what’s coming up after the rains. We’ll see a variety of native and introduced flora, and maybe mushrooms. Bring water. A two hour exploratory walk. Meet at the intersection of Ventura and Windsor in Altadena. From the Windsor exit of the 210 freeway, drive north on Windsor until Ventura, where you will have to carefully park in the parking area on the west side of the street, overlooking the Arroyo Seco. From there, we will drive north into the JPL parking lot, and walk into the upper Arroyo.
