In this program, we will begin with a discussion of how we take general navigation for granted in our society with all our smart phones and GPS devices. We’ll share ways to observe the world for clues to directions.
We’ll look at ways to observe the sun, stars, and moon for navigation, and then some fundamentals about using a compass. This will be loosely based upon Nyerges’ latest book, “Guide to Getting Around with or without a Compass.”
After, we will have an optional social time and discussion, where we can discuss what’s going on in today’s world, and how we might respond most appropriately.
