A repeat of this outing (popularly requested) but this time adding field practice. Learn to use a compass and read a map, as well as natural navigation (using nature/celestial and your awareness to find your way). Then we’ll take to the field, putting the skills into practical use. Includes finding and taking a bearing and utilizing BOTH compass and map to navigate. Suitable for 1st-timers but seasoned outdoors people and previous (returning) participants will benefit as well!
Cost for the class is $25.00, including all materials. Repeat participants welcome. Free Parking.
