We will explore a watershed area, seeing native and introduced plants.
You will learn about edible plants, medicinal plants, various useful plants. You will learn some of the Plant Families, based on the pattern method developed by Tom Elpel.
While in the field, we will learn about primitive shelters so you know what it takes to safely spend the night outdoors.
On our walk, you will learn how to identify food plants, plants for making fire, plants for shelter, and medicine plants.
Join us for an insightful walk into a wild area, and learn about useful plants.
Dress comfortably and bring water. Bring a bowl for eating. You might also consider bringing gloves. The trail will be more or less flat.
